Thank you to ALL who supported our Seasonal Programming during this cold winter season! We could not have done it without you!
We successfully hosted 64 Code Purples in Wilmington and Newark this winter with 7 host faith communities. All together, we had 167 volunteers complete about 1,300 hours with us this Code Purple season. That’s truly remarkable and we cannot thank you enough!
In addition, we provided Winter Morning Hospitality to guests every Saturday from Nov – Mar. We couldn’t have done this without the support of First & Central Presbyterian Church who allowed us to open Saturdays in the winter to more than 100 people on average, provided generous volunteer support, and offered shower services to our community. Thank you!
We hope you feel our gratitude and are proud of how many people you helped feel welcomed and loved this season. Although the winter is behind us and the eternal spring of hope remains ahead of us, we know our hard work to ensure every person finds their way home continues.
