Providing Clothing,
Restoring Confidence.
Our Clothing Bank operates out of two large warehouses with a goal to provide new and gently used clothing to individuals of all ages across Delaware. Each year, we process approximately 200,000 pounds of clothing and serve more than 11,000 people through our clothing assistance efforts.
Driven by compassion and a deep commitment to our community, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need—ensuring dignity, warmth, and support through every garment we distribute.
What We Need
- Clothing for people of all ages.
- Shoes, belts, hats, and purses (in good condition).
- Underwear, socks, and bathing suits (must be new).
- Our greatest need is everyday clothing (sweatshirts, jeans, sweatpants, sneakers, etc.), men’s clothing, and larger sized clothing (3XL -5XL)
- Clothing should be in good condition, meaning that it looks close to new.
- Items should be clean, and free of rips, stains, pet hair, odors, and other imperfections.

School Apparel and Uniforms
Access to school uniforms can be a hidden challenge for many families in Delaware. While polo shirts and khaki style pants are required by numerous schools, there are few resources available for families who can’t afford them. Without the proper attire, students may face disciplinary actions or feel excluded, barriers that can significantly impact their educational experience.
We’ve also partnered with the national organization, Shoes That Fit, to create a Shoe Bank – the first in Delaware. This partnership allows us to provide new name-brand sneakers to students, supporting their physical activity, and ensuring they walk into school with dignity.
By providing uniforms and new sneakers, we can help ease a burden for both students and families. It’s a small act with a big impact—giving students the confidence and sense of belonging they need to fully engage and thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Volunteerism
Our Clothing Bank provides a wonderful volunteer opportunity for all ages and abilities. We welcome volunteers throughout the week to help sort clothing and will offer weekend opportunities for groups of 10 or more. In addition to sorting clothing, we have opportunities for drivers to assist with moving items.
